I'm a dedicated junior at Ball State University, currently pursuing a bachelors degree in media promotion/managment and marketing. My journey in higher education began after graduating from Franklin Central High School, where I developed a strong foundation for academic excellence and personal growth.I am currently the Vice President of Philanthropy for my sorority. This position requires me to keep track of the service hours for every member and plan/execute our Philanthropy events. Being on the executive board for my sorority has equipped me the life skills needed to be in a leadership position. This semester, I serve as a recruitment counselor for PHA on campus. This position requires me to disaffiliate from my sorority and counsel potential new members during their recruitment process. I am required to attend events, have excellent time management, and help other students find their home. Beyond campus involvement, I'm fortunate to work at the Girl Scouts of Central Indiana as a Membership Specialist. In this role, I'm dedicated to recruiting girls and increasing membership retention. I lead starter troops, providing guidance and support to new troop leaders, and I work closely with my supervisors to develop and implement strategies to achieve our membership goals. I also attend events within my community to promote Girl Scouts and inspire girls to join a troop. This position requires me to be timely, have excellent communication, and maintain a balanced work/school life.I am grateful for the experiences I have worked hard for so far in school, and I look forward to what all the work world has to offer post graduation!
