• Responsible for the development of online and hybrid degree, for­credit certificate programs, and specialized advanced professional development programs at PSU;

• Engages executive leadership in defining institutional strategy for distance education including planning budgets, directing support staff, and managing resources.
• Administers instructional design/development projects and works with the online learning team in guiding the process from the analysis of needs through the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of the.
• Works directly with faculty to conceptualize and create online courses that attain the same learning outcomes as those delivered in more traditional formats.
• Works directly with Deans and Department Chairs in the development of new online programs.

• Responsible for the management, development and growth of The Patton College’s online learning programs, including course development time lines, delivery, and assessment.
• Once the curricula for programs/courses have been approved by the College for online learning, work closely with faculty to ensure programs/courses are developed and available per predefined time lines and quality.
• Work closely with faculty, staff, and student workers to develop current and new Internet-based resources to improve efficiencies, interactions, and accessibility of information for the College community.
• Assist faculty and instructors with a wide array of instructional technology issues throughout College departments and various College Centers.
• Serve as the College’s primary instructional technology liaison to faculty, staff, administrators, students, University administration, and external county and state representatives.
