 Initiated regional G&G mapping in Deep Basin for conventional and unconventional resource assessment. Calculated volumetrics for multiple stratigraphic units and worked closely with reservoir engineers and reserve auditors to determine reserve estimations. Updated depositional models for conventional and unconventional reservoirs and constructed facies net pay, structural and fairway maps for multiple reservoirs.  Evaluated exiting pools, identified on trend potential plays and bypassed pay. Planned and booked infill drilling locations and workover programs on existing pools based on geological, geophysical and engineering data, as well as executed workover program for horizontals wells in tight sands. Collaborated with engineers to design re-frac program based on the existing well information. Posted and acquired land for unconventional shale oil play.  Supervised geological team for geological modelling of producing oil sands thermal project and collaborated with geophysical team for 3D seismic acquisition for step-out locations. Liaised with drilling, reservoir engineering teams to design complex horizontal well trajectories and coring program. Planned, designed and supervised horizontal drilling program on 3 super pads (24 well/pad) for enhanced oil recovery through CSS and SAGD. Reviewed daily and final geological reports, supervised geosteering team for optimal well placement and approve geological picks. Chaired different tool programs to optimize real time drilling data Designed and implemented field procedures for heavy oil spill investigative program. Liaised with drilling team to re-enter abandoned well bores to investigate spill path through different stratigraphic layers and determine zones of weakness. Mentored wellsite geologists, summer students and new hires.
