GEAR Foundation is a pioneer in the field of Education. Set up in the year 1995 at Bangalore, we have held up true to our name which is Gifted Education And Research. My Role is ever changing, At present what I am focusing on are:- Guiding the entire organisation to overcome the many challenges that the pandemic has brought upon schools and the community at large. - The overall administration of the main campus as well as finance and accounts. - Incharge of the development of the Montessori wing which has also expanded into Elementary Grades as well. - Improving the physical infrastructure at the main campus, which includes overseeing a brand new block and world-class sports facilities. - Exploring new methodologies and Technology and have them integrated across all levels.- Staff recruitment and training- Reviewing HR policies for all employees- Partner and vendor assessments as well as ensuring a fruitful relationship for all. - Public relations with respect to social media and other mediums.- Mental Health programs across the school. - Constantly reviewing and rethinking current systems in practice to be a much better institute to serve the children under our care better.

We experiment with material and technology in order to provide simple , effective solutions that help our designs to be innovative and unique.We have handled the design as well as Project management, supervision & execution of our projects. Spanning over 81,000 Sqft of built up area.

Working in Buildaur, Auroville was an experience that I would cherish for life. Here is where I truly understood the importance of designing with respect to the environment and locally available materials. Exposure to leading professionals in the field of architecture as well as other allied professions was an added benefit.I was also involved in a project called AinA ( Artisans in Architecture ) Supported by the Hunnarshala Foundation. As a student team, we were to build a formula styled race car, that would then be tested and competed against similar cars, built by universities from around the world. We got the much required first hand experience very early on in our lives. Raising funds from multi-national corporate was the task we undertook. After which constant updates and communications had to be handled. The Team still functions as the system we worked on ensured that every successful batch improved upon the previous. Till date we have participated at the FSAE Events conducted in Australia, Germany and Italy.
