Besides taking over the regular management responsibilities, I assessed the performance of the department and digital activities of VPRO. I redefined strategic goals, introduced design thinking methods in concept development and created a product roadmap and budget matching the digital ambitions of 2020 and beyond. And finally, I developed a new organisational design that improves cross-functional collaboration and agile ways of working.

Responsible for all major digital and IT-projects and for building and leading a great team of project managers in the 3 countries. As an executive and member of the IT management team, I managed international leadership teams, led negotiations and established effective relationships with our company directors. We improved and accelerated our software development by transforming the IT-department(500 FTE in Belgium, the Netherlands and Copenhagen) to self-organising, cross-functional development teams. We implemented lean ways of work with agile methodologies and successfully nudged the organisation to focus on impact and less on features.
