902 EAW MT - Primary duties include the end to end refuelling management of fixed wing RAF assets, rotary aircraft from the RN detachment and a multitude of world wide visiting aircraft.Operate a wide range of specialist airfield support vehicles that include, Airfield Sweepers, Aircraft De-icers, Forklifts and Snow & Ice equipment. Routinely operate away from the unit un-supervised for up to 15 hours a day. Carryout quality control of aviation fuel IAW regulations, including husbandry of all associated tools and equipment fitted to aircraft refuellers.Working in MT Control, ASMT, CES, MTTTL, including the operation of IT. Ensuring that all local orders are read and complied with, in addition to maintaining FOD free vehicles from potential FOD hazards. Comply with H&S, COSHH and Road Transport Regulations.Responsible for the conveyance of passengers safely to airhead and various destinations by large Passenger Carrying Vehicles (PCV). Convey freight using Large Goods Vehicles (LGV) & ensuring all specialist equipment & loads are fully secure prior to transporting to destination. VIP tasks for Group Captians, Station Commanders and Air Officers.
