As the Education and Event Coordinator at the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage (KCAAH). As the Education Coordinator I was responsible for working with local schools and organizations to enhance their knowledge about the history, heritage and cultural contributions of African-Americans in Kentucky and in the African Diaspora. I am was the first contact with clients to showcase the KCAAH facility and to assess the needs for each potential client. I was responsible for maintaining contact with clients and vendors to assure they had a successful event at KCAAH. I was the point person for the April 2015 visit by Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall to KCAAH.

 Planned and organized events for student categories: CARDnival, Commuters Breakfast, Graduate Students Symposium. Inter business communications with departments: First Year Initiatives, Graduate Student Council, Engage Lead Serve Board, and Resident Student Association).  Facilitated post event evaluations and assessed strengths and weaknesses of events performances for remedial action. Analyzed financial needs, computed the operational budget and motivated funds from the student body. Conducted Weekly Committee Meetings to plan and evaluate departmental performance. Planned and executed marketing plans and strategy using multimedia like Face Book, Emails, and Posters.
