Open Data Camp is a weekend ‘unconference’ with no pre-defined agenda - participants ‘pitch’ topics to each other that they wish to run as sessions during the course of the event. Open Data Camp is a first in the UK, but other events have successfully used a similar format, including UKGovCamp. The event is timed to coincide with International Open Data Day, which this year falls on Saturday 21st February 2015.Open Data Camp is not aligned with any particular sector. Attendees are drawn from across the UK, and include people from academia, local government, central government, community groups, businesses, and individual members of the public.

Using my extensive digital (communications) experience to support the Change Programme in its delivery of digital solutions through the organisations website and intranet. Working within the PMO team and reporting to the PMO Manager. Look at innovative and engaging ways to present data and access to data to the workforce. I am the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the internet (initially the GOSS websites but latterly the national police Single Online Home system for the two forces - sitting on the National Steering Group); the intranet and the subsequent splitting of this alliance system into force specific intranets; as well as Local Policing boundaries and team information.

Responsible for project managing the role out of a new intranet for Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police in 2016, as well as the role out of the new Internets for each force and another 4 websites delivered in 2014. Managing the continuing integration of systems into the website over the next 5 years. Project managed the implementation of the forces new Community Messaging Service (2016). Since August 2014 I am also responsible for the social media channels used by both forces.

As the Chair of the group, I organised with the Vice Chair a quarterly meeting of the group within the UK and oversaw the proceedings. I represented the National Police Web Managers Group at national meetings with the Home Office and other bodies.
