SETUP is the media lab for anyone interested in the fusion of technology and culture. From our critical-hilarious signature and hands-on approach we know how to translate complex themes into a broad audience without making them too heavy or incomprehensible. SETUP divides all its activities into three types / phases: research design assignments (artistic and substantive research with professionals from the creative industry), agenda-setting presentations (showing work and insights to a wide audience) and applied programs (didactic programs for different segments of the market).

As a board member I focus on innovation in education through technology and HR.Foundation Public Education on the Amstel consists of 22 public primary schools in the Amsterdam districts South and Center. For example, we have six Montessori schools, two Dalton schools, two Culture profile schools, two Development-oriented schools and two Integrated Child Centers.

The goal for this fast growing organisation (175 employees) in the solar industry, was to become scalable and profitable. Together with the CEO, I have designed and implemented a SGV 2.0 program by introduction a new IT platform (ODOO) and organizational model. By acting as the COO I was able to lead this change from within. As a leader I have been able to engage all employees in the change by communication, collaboration and transparency in all HR, operations, and IT processes. The change is now taking over by the CTO and CHRO and therewith embedded in the team.

This private equity organization in the IT industry, asked me to advise and design the change management of the organization. They bought over 12 companies and needed a new strategy, a new organizational design and an IT platform that supported the change. At the same time, they asked me to engage all employees of these different entities in the change so therefore I was also responsible for the full internal communications and HR strategy.

I have advised KLM HR L&D and Ground Services in their transformation to a behavioural change of their employees, supported by process improvements and new technologies. I worked on 2 projects, one on Ground Services and the other on (D&I) leadership across the organisation. I created the strategy together with the C-level, defined the program and designed the processes and tools.

During my role as manager of the communications team, i have invented and initiated a program for all people managers in the company. The outcome of the program is to create a leadership that fosters a talent and potential focusses organization in order to achieve an increased reputation in "realizing potential' . I have set up a program in 3 layers:* the goals for the organisation (why do we do this)* learning by doing and from eachother by creating learning circles* invidual growth of all managers by discovering their talents and creating a personal vision.Result of this program is that the managers in the organisation are much more focussed on the talent of their teammember and therewith being able to deliver higher quality and work more efficient and effective.

My role is to ensure customer centricity for all our marketing, communication and online activities as Microsoft. In this role my challenge is to combine all the talents and experiences in the team and achieve improvements on 3 levels: customer centricity, digital innovation and operational excellence. On all 3 topics i have been able to grow and improve by excelling the talents of the teammembers, develop and improve the processes and reduce costs while increasing quality.

With the team i have been responsible for the marketing to and thru our distribution channel. For over 6.500 partners in the Netherlands we have created trainings, events, websites and marketing materials. My role has been to facilitate and create a strong team of professionals and connect them with sales and execution. Thru talent and drive, i had a highly motivated and succesfull team that succeeded on all different targets.

At KPNQwest i was responsible for the European marketing of its products. My role was to set up a strategy for new product releases for all European countries and help all local marketeers in our subsidiaries to sell & marketing the products. i have travelled a lot in this role and did the trainings in English, French, Italian and German. A very international and learning full experience.

I have led the Dutch PSINet team which consisted of mainly sales and marketing. When i joined PSINet, i still had to set up and build the Dutch team. I was responsible for realizing the high sales results, manage the people in the different teams (telesales, partner sales, strategic sales, marketing & finance). In this role i have learned to manage a big team of professionals and was responsible for he Dutch P&L. It was also my first experience with an US based company.
