I am an experienced International Cooperation Officer with a strong background in Intellectual Property, gained through diverse roles at BOIP. I started as a trademark examiner and then (after completing my university law degree) I became a lawyer, where I developed a particular interest in opposition decisions. Currently, I am working in the field of International Cooperation, particularly within the European landscape. I collaborate closely with EUIPO, fellow IP offices in the EU, and our member states Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg to foster synergies and streamline processes, enhancing IP accessibility and applicability.As a versatile professional, I excel both as a team player and when working independently. My approach involves delving into complex issues, distilling them, and crafting practical solutions. I am deeply committed to making intellectual property comprehensible and usable for our stakeholders, including IP professionals and SMEs. I simply am passionate about my work and the field I work in!
