Synopsis : ISUP Session controller acts as a gateway in the MSP (Mobile services platform) provided by Xius-Bcgi.It manages setup, maintenance and teardown of connections in MSP. In doing so it needs to interact with Camel gateway, HLR and billing components to gather the required info. For e.g. to setup an MT(Mobile terminated) call ISUPSC need to know the MSRN(Mobile subscriber routing number).For this it sends a MAP SRI query to HLR.In our scenario both Mo((Mobile originated) & MT are chargeable. For this reason it needs to communicate with Billing. Communication with all these components is based on TCP/IP on proprietary interface. It supports MO, MT), CF (call forwarding) calls. The entire MT calls lands directly on ISUPSC.But all Mo calls land on camel gateway which forwards them to ISUPSC.The ISUPSC supports both ANSI and ITU-T based networks.

Client : Brocade Communication systems, U.S.A Synopsis : The licensing subsystem allows applications to check whether a license is available to activate a particular software feature. The license subsystem handles the generation, delivery and installation of encrypted keys in the FOS (Fabric operating system). The encrypted keys are decrypted and made available to applications to check whether a specific feature is enabled or not through well-defined API. The existing license subsystem supports only 24 software features. The current encryption algorithm convolutes the license data, so is not very secure and does not scale easily beyond 24 features. A new licensing scheme is described to overcome the limitations imposed by the current licensing scheme. It fits into the existing license infrastructure without changing the external interfaces provided to the user. It is also backward compatible with the old system so the old licenses that user may have installed will work even after moving to the new license system. The new licensing scheme supports 96 licensable software features. A new secure encryption/ decryption algorithm is developed to create new licenses.
