Project Title : ISUP Session Controller (ISUPSC)Environment : LINUX, C, C++, Intellinet SS7 stack, ISUP, TCAP, MAP, TCP/IP, Socket Programming, Threads, STLTeam size : 4 Duration : 18 months (Dec2008-August2009)Role : Involved in Enhancements as per Customer requirement, fixing memory leaks, added new Thread model. In the process of adding phone tapping now for legal authorities. Make it support ITU-T networks. Earlier it support ANSI based networks only. Client : Aspider (Vodafone), Malta (Europe). Synopsis : ISUP Session controller acts as a gateway in the MSP (Mobile services platform) provided by Xius-Bcgi.It manages setup, maintenance and teardown of connections in MSP. In doing so it needs to interact with Camel gateway, HLR and billing components to gather the required info. For e.g. to setup an MT(Mobile terminated) call ISUPSC need to know the MSRN(Mobile subscriber routing number).For this it sends a MAP SRI query to HLR.In our scenario both Mo((Mobile originated) & MT are chargeable. For this reason it needs to communicate with Billing. Communication with all these components is based on TCP/IP on proprietary interface. It supports MO, MT), CF (call forwarding) calls. The entire MT calls lands directly on ISUPSC.But all Mo calls land on camel gateway which forwards them to ISUPSC.The ISUPSC supports both ANSI and ITU-T based networks.

Enhanced Installation scripts to be more user friendly. Client : Internet Security systems, U.S.A. Synopsis : The Product comes under the category of IDS/IPS (Intrusion Prevention system).It monitors all kinds of attacks that includes Network attacks, OS attacks, HTTP attacks. It detects and prevents these kind of attacks. Depending upon the user request the product can take lot of actions. For example It can block the attack and report, It can only report, it can block the entire traffic from particular range of IP’s or execute some script as a response, send an email etc.

Project Title : Licensing for Brocade Switches Environment : Unix (Solaris, LINUX), C, Sparc32, PowerPC, Openssl source Team size : 2 Duration : 10 months (Apr2005-Dec2005)Role : Involved in design and coding. Client : Brocade Communication systems, U.S.A Synopsis : The licensing subsystem allows applications to check whether a license is available to activate a particular software feature. The license subsystem handles the generation, delivery and installation of encrypted keys in the FOS (Fabric operating system). The encrypted keys are decrypted and made available to applications to check whether a specific feature is enabled or not through well-defined API. The existing license subsystem supports only 24 software features. The current encryption algorithm convolutes the license data, so is not very secure and does not scale easily beyond 24 features. A new licensing scheme is described to overcome the limitations imposed by the current licensing scheme. It fits into the existing license infrastructure without changing the external interfaces provided to the user. It is also backward compatible with the old system so the old licenses that user may have installed will work even after moving to the new license system. The new licensing scheme supports 96 licensable software features. A new secure encryption/ decryption algorithm is developed to create new licenses.

Synopsis : The main aim behind this project is whenever Oracle database released on base platform (Initially it was Solaris, now the base has been changed to Linux) We need to release the Oracle database on various platforms for which we are responsible. In the process of doing so there were many steps involved. As the part of porting the Oracle database we need to produce the labels (Snapshot of Source code at particular date), build the code, do the code fixes if necessary, fixing the coredumps, resolve the Compilation, Makefile errors.

This Product technology supports generated documents such as bills, invoices,statements, and ERP reports from SAP, PeopleSoft and all other ERP applications, as well as customer documents in any format from any source, including letters, faxes, E-mail etc. Every major format is supported including XML, HTML, PDF, PostScript and PCL, IBM AFP, Xerox DJDE/Metacode, scanned images and desktop formats such as Excel, Word etc. It enables archiving, viewing, advanced searching and distribution of all documents with in a heterogeneous distributed environment

Synopsis : The main objective of Automatic Line Testing System is to cater the needs of the MTNL telephone exchanges by testing various parameters of subscriber lines .ALT is a part of Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) whose objective is to provide customer service through interactive voice response to the customers for different services and to decrease the manpower. This system interacts the customers more than 100 members at a time .The system accepts the incoming calls and dials to the subscribers about the confirmation. For e.g.: - the services like automatic complaint booking system, line man service, Bulk Telephone number announcement, Interactive change number announcement system, Bill enquiry system, Payment remainder system, all the above services are automated. At present this project is running successfully in New Delhi at 18 Sites.
