Worked directly with a Senior Architect in developing a system to monitor the fulfillment process of all retail online orders (multi-channel). The implementation was based on an innovative idea put forth by the architect. The results of the implementation were very good. The application resulted in great improvement in the order fulfillment process. Within few months, this became a critical application in the e-comm landscape.Technologies used were Spring (MVC, Integration, SOLR, JMS, XML), SOLR and Ext JS. In addition, Maven & Sencha Command (for Ext JS) were used as build tools.Was part of a team which designed and implemented SOA-based services for the marketing department of our client. This system was built to serve marketing data to all business-critical applications in the landscape. I had to learn technologies new to me till then: Apache Axis, EJB 3, Hibernate, JBoss application server, JBoss Infinispan cache, JBoss Drools etc. I was able to adapt to these new technologies within just a couple of weeks and was part of the core development team.Oracle was used as the database. In addition, Maven was used as the build tool. Code quality tools & plug-ins like PMD, Check-style, Find-bugs etc. were also used.Currently, part of a team implementing a large scale e-commerce website for a client of ours. This involved showing different types of content like blogs, videos etc. to highlight latest trends which are relevant to each department.
