• Able to design Gate, Globe, Check, Ball and Butterfly valves.• Familiar with ASME code, Design standards, Material standards ASME B16.34, B16.5, B16.10,API600, API594, API 608, API 609, BS1873, BS1868, API598, API6D, ISO5211,etc• Preparing Design Engineering Procedures, Design Bulletins, Assembly Procedures, functional qualification test procedures.• Create new product drawing and Design calculations.• Develop Concepts, Plans and Schedules for reaching technical goals, such as new product development.• Co-ordination with cross functional teams from Marketing, Sourcing, Product engineering, manufacturing and Quality, during the valve’s entire development and production cycle.• Proper Material selection to meet application requirement.• Design & implement cost effective equipment to help improve the Valve Process.• Evaluate Technical offers and pick up eligible supplier for project supply.• Managing Team of engineers for Engineering activity such as Technical Sales, E-bom release, drawing release, engineering procedure release and Project management.• Responsible for Technical Sales.• Proficiency in Primary project specifications review & preparing summary / extract, knowledge on reading specifications related to Valves• Handling Third Party Inspections. Preparing QAP & ITP, visual inspection, reviewing of material certificates, witness of hydrostatic and performance test.• Verify the drawings and releasing for prototypes.• Troubleshooting and servicing valves.• Monitor and control documentation related to valves.

• Being a part of the team responsible for carrying out design and development activities related to Ball, Gate, Globe, Check & Butterfly valves.• Quality Checking of Design Documents Engineering Bill of Materials, General Assembly Drawings, Component Drawings, Control Drawings and layouts.• Generating CAD models and providing engineering detail drawings for manufacturing and assembly.• Reviewing customer spec and preparing material spec for order compliance.• Coordinating with cross functional team for production and assembly issues.• Review of General Assembly Drawings for Quotation Stage and Post Order for Customer Approval.• Responsible for Technical sales.• Maintaining the master list of records, documentation and drawings.

• Valve Inspection and Testing according to Standards (API, ISO, BS, ASME & MSS-SP).• Maintained Quality Function as per the QMS.• Preparing technical details and Bill of Materials.• Create new product drawing, GA-Drawing and Design calculations.• Creating Rough Casting Components.• Extraction of the process drawing.• Prepare the Deviation or Clarification List, to be sent along with the Techno-Commercial Offer.• Scrutinizing and reviewing of RFQs received from EPC, Customers.• Confirm compliance to the applicable International Codes and Standards like ASME, ASTM, API, BS, EN, ISO.
