As a Service Refresh Development Manager I was responsible for managing and delivering service refreshes of IBM Java JDK . The team is spread across Canada, UK and India. . Most of IBM SWG products use IBM JDK as their runtime and hence a critical piece of technology for SWG products.Main objective was to ensure that the Service refreshes did not regress in quality as these version of the JDK was packaged as a part of number of IBM Software products like Websphere , Rational etc.Lead Service Releases of IBM SDK 142 SR8 and SR 9 . Responsibilities- Deliver successfully Service release of IBM Java which had Development Line items and defect Fixes.- Work and coordinate with globally distributed Java teams (UK, USA and Canada) to deliver Service refresh on time.
