Duties:* Create a R&D team* Help successfully develop, design and architect new products* Design, Architected and developed several applications and interfaces using Spring Framework, C#, WPF, Silverlight, XMPP Framework, Expression Blend and other .NET technologies. Some examples include Instant Messaging application, XML OUT interface etc.* Convert products from Visual studio 6 to .NET* Project management and Customer Management responsibilities* Manage customer calls, and from time to time appear at customer sites to help resolve issues* Handle project deliverables and planning using MS Project and other tools* Deal with multiple projects at the same time* Motivate team members to meet aggressive project deadlines* Plan and allocate resources* Handle Management responsibilities including hiring and firing, interview prospective candidates, Performance reviews and appraisals* Plan product roadmap and provide technical direction for the products* Analyze and review the QA process for many products for Positron* Develop test plans for all product lines. Duties:* Led a team of 6 developers* Worked on architecting, designing and developing next generation Computer-Aided Dispatch and related products. The system is built on a multi-tier architecture, with strategic integration of Web/Com-based technologies and a sophisticated map engine. It was accomplished using VB, VB.NET, C#, Mapobjects, ASP.NET, AJAX, Spring Framework and other .NET technologies. * Designed and worked on a next generation Mapping DLL that can be used in CAD as well as the other products that need a map and map related features using VB, ArcObjects and C#. This product was released as a web service as well as a Windows-class library. * Worked on the existing CAD (Computer-Aided Dispatch) product using VB and VC++. Many features were added and existing codes re-written for performance purposes and to support new and old customers. Wrote more than 80,000 lines of code on this product suite alone.* Wrote many interfaces so that CAD can communicate with other 3rd party- and Intrado-products. This includes Radio, Phone, Printer and Paging interfaces etc. * Worked on CADVisor, a web tool for Users to query and edit data that was put in using the CADPro product. This was written using Asp and Asp.Net.* Worked on WebRelayServer. It serves as an interface between Windows applications and ASP Clients* Was Involved in Testing/QA several product lines.* Designed and developed SSM (System Status Management Tool), Bolo Server Alarm Server and several other applications and services from inception using VB6, C#, ASP, ASP.NET.

Duties:* Worked on designing and developing the Advanced Tactical Map (ATM) product using Visual C++, MapObjects and NetEngine. * Worked to enhance the Graphic Geofile Manager, which is used to build and maintain map data that supports the Computer-Aided Dispatch System using VC++. It’s Motorola’s Version of ESRI Arc/Info, which does all kind of Map related work. * Worked to enhance the product named “AVL Server”, using ATL COM and VC++. This product receives, stores, distributes all unit (Police car, Ambulance &Fire units, etc.) information to clients. * Wrote Interfaces to many switches that AVL Server uses to communicate to the vehicles with GPS/Laptops, using various communication protocols (TCP/UDP/Serial connections)* Worked on developing AtmNetworkEditor, which is used for updating the road networks used in ATM (Advanced Tactical Map). This was developed using Delphi, MapObjects and NetEngine.
