About Satvik Sahu
As a climate change professional, I am passionate about finding solutions to one of the most pressing issues of our time. Over the past 3+ years, I have worked as an associate at Swaniti Initiative, where I gained valuable experience in policy research, consulting, client relations, government liaison, and other valuable skills such as data collection and analysis, concept notes, report writing related to sustainable agriculture, food security, and the PDS system. Now, as a part of the Mati Carbon, I have worked closely with the Founder to conduct initial pilots by providing innovative solutions for Carbon Removal through Enhanced Rock Weathering (ERW) that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and also provide co-benefits to the marginal farmers in India and help mitigate the impacts of climate change by managing stakeholder engagements across many verticles and contributing to developing the MRV tool for efficient data collection and overall project management. Currently, I am leading the Business Development team to scale our work in Asia and Africa region to grow Mati's impact and benefit thousands of small holder farmer to contribute as a change maker it achieving Mati's mission.With a degree in urban planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada, I bring a unique perspective to my work in the climate change field.
