I manage the Labor and Delivery's nursing station. Answering phone calls and administering all clerical duties. I organize the admitting and discharging of patients in a unit of 15-20 patients. Create and maintain patients' charts as well as update patient account records. Order lab and diagnostic tests at physicians’ request. Billing of healthcare services electronically. All of this done through our EHR, Cerner. On top of that, I coordinate and delegate responsibilities around the unit with my coworkers efficiently based on the nurses' needs as part of a team effort to provide excellent quality of care.

During my time with Welldex, I supervised the preparation and scanning of our client's shipping packages which consisted of more than 1,000 parts daily. I computed and maintained the product's database via Excel and tried to stay proactive assisting with sister projects around the warehouse when needed.

Working as a member of the FedEx team, I contributed with the loading and unloading of freight during the morning and afternoon shifts. In the loading dock, we promptly scanned the freight before organizing it inside the containers. At the end of every shift teamwork was essential in order to swiftly clean up the warehouse to be ready for the incoming shipments.
