Current· Develop and manage cross-functional, fully-integrated planning process that incorporates Make versus Buy, capacity planning, scheduling, inventory, and material and component costs at a multi-plant facility· Execute a sourcing strategy and vendor management process, including a supplier scorecard system, to meet the company’s business growth and sourcing requirements· Establish and implement Plan for Every Part process to support inventory forecasting, purchasing, and material control· Identify, develop, and manage effective relationships with existing and potential suppliers of goods and services to meet established cost, quality, and delivery targets· Collaborate with Quality, Sales, Engineering, and Machining and Assembly operations to ensure 100% on-time delivery by establishing and monitoring the schedule to proactively identify and address any issues· Utilize JobPack to supervise production scheduling activities by tracking progress of production and reviewing factors that affect schedules· Manage the efforts of one Supply Chain Specialist to facilitate material coordination for customer orders
