As a Residential Manager I oversee all administrative and staff functions within the community group home. Duties include but not limited to supervising community group home by maintaining standards of individual care, medical, financial, and all personal needs according to individuals care and behavioral plans and all state regulations. I am also responsible for maintaining home, household budget and supervision of staff and ensuring the safety and protection of clients.

As a Residential Facilitator I work in at a small residential group home where three intellectually disabled individuals reside. I am responsible for supporting and encouraging the best quality of life for each specific individuals' behavioral and care plan implemented. I help with day to day routines by providing nutritional needs, personal care, and transportation for the clients to work, community outings, doctor's appointments and other events needed. I hold a medication certification through the State of Connecticut to administer medication needed for the clients to maintain good health and behavior support. Along with my certification I am responsible for providing a healthy and safe environment and encouraging growth and education within the limits of each individuals care and behavioral plan.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant I worked for an agency working with the surrounding hospitals to fill temporary shifts in need from day to day. I worked at various hospitals performing care to different patients according to the level of assistance needed while in the hospital within my scope of practice. These duties include but not limited to day to day personal care, vital signs, hygiene care, and required assistance with feedings and any other responsibilities needed within my range of certification.
