1. Currently working on developing a recommendation algorithm that recommends top 3 revenue generating parking sites to an enforcement agent based on their current location.2. Trained an XGBoost model to predict illegal parking instances in cities which led to an 8% increase in parking revenue collected from enforcement.3. Implemented a regression model to predict the time taken by an enforcement agent to travel between parking sites. It led to a 50% reduction in the company’s cost as compared to using Google APIs.4. Devised a KMeans clustering model utilizing latitude and longitude coordinates to group geographical parking sites and evaluate their seclusion ratio, leading to a 30% decrease in analysis time by eliminating manual work.5. Wrote multiple python scripts for data cleansing and preprocessing tasks to ensure data quality and automated these data collection pipelines for smooth ingestion of data from various sources into the database.6. Analyzed large amounts of data to discover trends and patterns. Produced comprehensive dashboards and reports for communicating valuable insights to external stakeholders in a timely manner developing cordial relations with them.

During my internship, I worked with the Data Science team that was involved in the testing of their new product Digital Route Planning (DRP). I was involved in various tasks that exist within a data science project pipeline.⏩ Data Collection: Wrote a few web scraping scripts to extract data (weather records and event data) from external sources using python web scraping libraries such as requests, scrapy and beautifulsoup.⏩ Data Extraction: Extraction of raw data from MySQL database servers.⏩ Data wrangling and preprocessing: Transformed raw data into an appropriate format so that it can be used for further analysis purposes. ⏩ Data Analysis: Analysing the data from different perspectives to gain better insights from the data. Also, performed hypothesis testing on these collected data points to validate if any event or weather conditions in an area affect parking patterns in a city. This helped the team to assess the performance of the model.
