About Saurabh Khare, Mrics

With more than 18 years of experience in the Indian real estate industry, I have worked across diverse asset class types as well as multiple locations such as North & East India, Central India (MP, etc), South India (TN, AP, Kerala, etc) and Western India (Gujarat and Maharashtra). This wide ranging experience has been instrumental in shaping up a keen understanding of the mechanics of valuation of various real estate asset classes leading to transactions and investments. I am currently in a leadership role at the world’s biggest Real Estate Advisory firm, CBRE. Over the last few years, I have led the Valuation Advisory practice at CBRE India to become the largest dedicated valuation advisory team. My role at CBRE includes business development, deal sourcing and closure, client management, team hiring and management, instituting pan-India process excellence center and managing the same through collaboration with various regional leads. I have also established and led various new service offerings such as IBBI/NCLT led valuations, Plant & Machinery valuations and Risk Monitoring services within the valuation business and whose growth reflects the changing demands of the industry and clients.The clients include investment banks, private equity funds, developers, HNIs, Banks, NBFCs, government agencies, etc.Previous Experience:Initially, being a part of the 'Strategic Consulting' team at Jones Lang LaSalle, I undertook Feasibility, Valuation, Market Research, Demand/Supply Assessment, Business Location Advisory, etc for various clients and asset types such as Commercial developments, Hospitality, SEZs, Mixed Use and Townships developments, Transport and Logistics.Thereafter, as a part of the "Capital Markets" team, I was involved in fund-raising and private placement for Commercial assets, Mixed-use, Hospitality and Residential developments including Affordable Housing.
