Returned to work as summer intern in Enterprise Service Management Division of Hughes Network Systems in Data & Financial Analytics. Performed internet security audit for high profile customer with ~3k locations. Results of audit will be utilized to implement an on-going audit process to ensure security standards are maintained at customer locations. Audit involved getting familiar with security standards and practices as well as check the billing accounts for the business location to ensure they are up to date and accurate.

Worked as summer intern at Hughes Network Systems in Data & Financial Analytics reporting to the Director of Enterprise Service Management. Project encompassed reviewing telecom monthly billing to analyze trends and isolate potential cost savings. Once potential cost savings were isolated, the data was sent to the Telcos for validation and process/data correction which resulted in cost savings of ~$25K annually. The position required extensive work manipulating large data files in excel with filters and pivot tables to isolate trends. Additionally data had to be scrubbed into a usable format before bringing it into excel. Extensive time management skills were utilized as I needed to research a large quantities of data on a daily bases to meet the aggressive timeline needed to get this completed by the end of my internship.
