My name is Savannah and I am a senior at the University of Rhode Island majoring in Sociology and Anthropology. I am passionate about working to help others and have an interest in wanting to get involved with social work. Currently at URI I have been acquiring knowledge and skills related to understanding the context of sociology of health, illness, and medical care as well as understanding sociology in the context of family dynamics. With this knowledge I hope to not only continue my education here at URI within sociology and anthropology but to also pursue graduate school in the future within social work.
