CREATE Independence INC is a non profit life skills program offering transitional, employment and day services to individuals of varying abilities. The are program offers engagement in meaningful daily living skills, which include education, prevocational and vocational skills, health and wellness management, social participation, activities of daily living and leisure in Connecticut. The program is guided by the belief that all individuals have an innate need and a right to participate in meaningful activities that support and give purpose to participation in life. CREATE Independence is addressing the needs of the increasing number of adolescents and young adults who require additional support in daily living skills, education, work, leisure, and social participation.
