Growing up in small town, TX, I was lucky enough to develop a love for animals at an early age. I grew up on a little funny farm with horses and dogs, we even had a pet mini pig that walked on a leash! I was lucky enough to attend Texas A&M and the decision to pursue Animal Science as a degree path was an easy one. With my love of animals and my social butterfly personality (fun fact: I was voted most talkative in my senior superlatives), I landed in the veterinary sales space following graduation. Since both my undergraduate and graduate degrees had an equine emphasis, I started in the equine industry as a sales and marketing specialist, which was a blast, but I found myself missing the clinic environment. I had worked in a clinic in college and loved the comradery and interreacting with pets and their owners everyday. After a few years in a sales job working directly with clinics throughout the country, I was blessed to join the team at Vetcor!Recruiting was new to me, but was the perfect combination of interacting with others everyday, and working in a clinic environment! I love being able to learn a candidates story and what brought them to pursue veterinary medicine, and be able to tailor their experience to them and find them a clinic to call home. I have been in the situation of loving my job, but not loving the environment that job was in. When I joined Vetcor, I knew immediately I had found a team that would be supportive and welcoming. My goal is to place the veterinarians I work with in a clinic that they love the job and the environment, and truly enjoy going to work every day. Vector's mission is to enhance the health and well-being of not only pets, but the people who care for them, which is a passion I share and strive to achieve everyday! When I am not chatting away with candidates, I love spending time with my family and friends (work life balance is a major factor at Vetcor!), supporting my Fightin' Texas Aggies, working on home projects, and of course, spending quality time with our pets. I look forward to connecting with many more amazing people in this awesome industry!
