Currently studying Inclusive Elementary Education at Rowan University. My degree certifies me to teach Kindergarten through 6th grade regular education and Kindergarten through 12th grade special education. Dean's List student and recently awarded The President's Scholars of Excellence award based off my GPA of a 4.0I previously graduated from Brookdale Community College with an Associates Degree in the Arts, completing 60 hours of observations in a 8th grade english classroom. I worked part time in the Dean's Office for the College of Education at Rowan University, helping with event coordination and technological tasks such as TK20 data/ support. Now I work for Student Support Services, specifically in the tutoring center/ part time on campus I have completed 40 observation hours in a 2nd grade inclusion classroom at Broad Street Elementary in Bridgeton, New Jersey for one day a week for 7 weeks. In the Following Spring semester, I will continue with observations in a school (district/ grade level TBD) twice a week for 10 weeks. My student teaching process will take place during my senior year in the Fall semester of 2023, starting off twice day a week. Then the following Spring semester of 2024, I will be student teaching 5 days a week following graduation. (district/ grade level TBD) I have my substitute teacher certification and currently pick up days whenever I can to gain experience and knowledge from all grades. I love to explore how different all the age groups can be, and the diversity brought in from each classroom. My future career plans are to get hired into a school district that will help me go back to school to get a Master’s Degree, and potentially move out of the state and experience the educational world from a different perspective.
