In June 2021, along with other WAI students, I founded Just Food Collective and since conception I have been responsible for our administration, accounts and led major JFC projects. Just Food Collective has many projects, one close to my heart was the Rebuilding Women Farms in Gaza campaign. Throughout this campaign I coordinated the ‘success and resilience stories’ of the women agripreneurs, along with being a featured speaker at the launch webinar where we raised over $25,000 to support women to rebuild their farms. Our current work is around food security. I am lead investigator and coordinator on the Fed Up! Campaign at William Angliss where we are exploring student food insecurity at the Institute. I developed the survey tool collecting the quantitative and qualitative data, analysed the results and wrote the final report. I have also successfully received a $155,000 grant from the City of Melbourne to run a dignified, free food hub in Melbourne to start later in 2023.

The Young Mayors program is all about shifting power and active decision making to young people, in their own communties. Sitting in Hepburn, I am working with a group of young people to make sure Hepburn's first-ever Youth Council is successful. I am one of four Program Assistants over Australia, working with a bigger team at FYA on the pilot stage of this FYA program.

I have been employed to work on an upcoming Food Security Framework for a Victorian local government. Tasks involve: benchmarking, note-taking, desktop research, profiling and report writing. I am also engaged with other current projects at Sustain.
