I am an internationally award winning filmmaker, in my own right.Recognised for abilityI am the current Filmmaker in Residence at Exeter Phoenix Arts Centre.Understand the needs of clientsIndependent Film and Video Producer. Clients include NHS, Charities, Clothing Labels, Artists, Photographers.GOOD WITH DIGITAL MACHINESI have been making films for 15 years.I have had films screened internationally, won some awards and have worked in most production roles, Camera, Lighting, Sound, AD, Art etc...I worked for Apple as a Creative.I’m apple certified in Final Cut Pro, Motion and teach Apple software. Both currently and previously at Apple. I used to work as a Sound Engineer and Lighting Tech.I mixed for bands, set up P.A.s and projectors for conferences and lit the stage.Administratively ableI run my own business, keep accounts, process tax organise and pay sub-contractors, previously I have organised international conferences, written copy and run data analyses as an R.A. for the University of Exeter.IS THERE ANYTHING BETTER THAN PEOPLEA First Class Degree in Psychology.Awarded by Goldsmiths College. I was also hired by my professor straight out of Uni.Communication is at the heart of everythingPolite and clear communication go a long way; whether that’s knowing when to interrupt and when not to on a film set, dealing with people at Apple who have broken their expensive computers pr teaching 30 over-excited children how. Invited to deliver a presentation on pop up culture as it relates to film, as curator of PUNY GODS! The students were asked to curate their own pop up screening at the University's Bill Douglas Cinema Museum and I have been involved in supporting the groups as well as contributing to assessment.A really fantastic opportunity to share my love of guerilla.

My moving image work is increasingly questioning the boundaries between traditional filmmaking and a fine art practice that utilises moving image. Being an Associate Artist, follows on from being the Phoenix's.

As I have been given a title I thought I would give myself a job to do. Devon has a lot of vastly prolific, passionate and engaged filmmakers but it is also spread out and isolated.
