I have been in the Health Information Technology since 2003 and have held various positions since then, being a developer , team lead , database architect, IT manager and an IT Director with various industries like academic health institutions, large to medium private hospital networks and large to mid size physician practices. With the ever changing technologies in healthcare, the need of the hour is adaptability to the changing landscape away from fee-for-service to outcome based models in healthcare. I'm constantly involved with initiatives in this evolutionary space, and help in churning out solutions by helping innovative companies. The broad initiatives that I've been involved in the past include building smart alternative systems where the conventional IT systems fail to help deliver value to the end-users.
