I oversee the maintenance of the LNG Reliquefaction plant, nitrogen generators, and deck machineries such as winches, windlass, and cranes. On my inaugural trip as a gas engineer, I efficiently prepared the ship for drydock and successfully completed the first loading after the dock.

•Directly responsible for operational/preventive maintenance of 4xAuxiliary Engines (Diesel Generators), 2xAuxiliary Boilers and 10xPurifiers.•Created MOC for Fuel oil Buffer Piston Maintenance for Diesel Generators which was the root cause for major breakdowns. This was added to the preventive maintenance schedule.•Carried out 60,000 routine on 2 diesel generators along with STX team.•Understudied Cargo Engineer duties and prepared an extensive report of all cargo operations and submitted to the Chief Engineer for further reference for all engineers new to LNG Cargo operations. •Troubleshooted and rectified long standing issues on generators, purifiers and air compressors.

•Directly responsible for operational/preventive maintenance of 4xAuxiliary Engines (Diesel Generators), 2xAuxiliary Boilers and 10xPurifiers. •Carried out piston renewal of 3 units of Main engine during the beginning of the Covid outbreak due to the unavailability of technicians. •Prepared and submitted MR for refit for various jobs such as ME Exhaust uptake bellow replacement, Central coolers instrumentation flange replacement, Fresh water generator re-framework, seawater pipe sections renewal.

•Directly responsible for Incinerator, Sewage Treatment Plant, Air Compressors, Control air dryers, Purifiers and Oily water separator. •Attended dry dock of an LNGC which paved way for knowledge beyond sailing. •Submitted a detailed report on the abnormalities recurring on all ships and rectification procedure by creating an MOC for screw air compressors onboard which was later added to the Preventive maintenance schedule. This was later recognised by David Taylor, GM OF Shell Ship Management in September 2019 Scorecard. •Completed Safety officer course and took initiative to become the safety officer.

•Garnered knowledge of general systems onboard and operational/preventive maintenance of all machineries related to fourth engineer. •Familiarised all LSA AND FFA equipments onboard. •Participated and facilitated in company programs such as Behavior Based Safety (BBS), Risk Assessment Matrix Analysis (RAM), Seagull Computer Based Training (CBT), Positive Intervention (PI). Partners InSafety (PIS), Reverse Tool Box talk(RTBT) and other onboard training andcompliance programs.
