Director Of Coaching Programs
CurrentLead the planning and implementation of target population programs across all geographic areas served by Pivotal. The Director is a member of the Pivotal Leadership Team. Pivotal serves current and former foster youth (public children welfare and refugee foster youth) by connecting them to a 1 to 1 education and career coach that assesses their needs anf coaches them to high school completion, a post-secondary credential, and a career job before exiting program.• Cultivate positive relationships with community college campuses, school districts, DFCS (child welfare) and other essential partners with the goal of ensuring continued collaboration• Develop and maintain processes for working with program partners, including but not limited to county child welfare, juvenile justice system, mental health, and other external partners• Represent Pivotal at external meetings, public forums and presentations goals and objectives of PivotalDirect ongoing design, development and growth of Pivotal target population programs including implementation of a current strategic plan and re-design of our intake process leading to an increase in referrals to our services from 382 children to 524 children in 1 calendar year• Report progress toward program goals to the Leadership and Executive teams• Supervision of a team of coaches that serves high school youth, a team that coaches post-secondary youth, and an intern team comprised of social work masters level interns• Train new cohort of interns and new programs staff 1-2x annually on practice model of Pivotal, motivational interviewing, active listening, dependency system 101, and more• Monitor expense reports and timesheets for staff as well as annual budget for all programs with CFO• Evaluate and track staff performance, conduct annual performance evaluations
