Do you know why men typically experience fewer behavioral problems with dogs than do women? Perhaps the reason is: Men tend to act like dogs (actually more like the mother dog); whereas women tend to act like human beings. This is not a slight against men,(I happen to be one of them), but men tend to mimic more of the mother dog's patterns of behavior. My goal is to teach women who own dogs (and the men who love them) how to create a positive human-canine bond. Are you aware how women continue to be disenfranchised by most of the dog training community? Hint: Group training, Treat training, Clicker Training, & "alpha dog" and "leader of the pack" jargon which have no basis in scientific fact.
