Before founding Saxe Law LLC, David worked for two highly respected Chicago-area law firms and supported the drafting of important legislation concerning dissolution of marriage, parentage, child and spousal support, parental responsibilities, parenting time, and parent access to school student records. Prior to becoming an attorney, David worked as a school psychologist evaluating students to determine eligibility for special education and related services; engaging collaborative teams in data analysis and student progress monitoring; providing counseling and crisis intervention; and drafting IEPs and Section 504 plans. Additionally, David has extensive experience as a school administrator developing, implementing, and evaluating intervention programs and services, overseeing student discipline investigation and appeal processes; and above all else, focusing on the educational needs and social-emotional well-being of students.
