As an Orientation Leader I worked with QUT Connect (within Student Engagement & Sport) in a small team responsible for the planning and delivery of QUT Orientation weeks. As Stalls, Site & Logistics Coordinator I was the primary liaison with internal and external stakeholders such as student societies, project teams, organizations, companies, non-profits and caterers to provide stallholder opportunities across two campuses at Semester 1 & 2 Orientation weeks. Within this role I was responsible for events and logistics management, and had overwhelming opportunities to develop my leadership, interpersonal, organisational skills. Previously as an Orientation Assistant I was responsible for the organisation and management of QUT Connect volunteers and delivery of Welcome and Information tents at Orientation week, successfully situating diverse groups of QUT students and patrons within the university environment.
