I was working in HS2 project which connects from London to Birmingham, as a part of Systra. The mean train speed is 360km/hr,for which time history analysis is necessary. Sofistik is used for the dynamic analysis. I also worked on Regiotram project for their station sheds as well as different station building projects, which are mostly RCC Structures. Commercial FEA software ETABS is used for the frame analysis and the design is done using in house developed excel sheets. Prior joining Systra, I worked with SMEC India on Hydropower Projects of ShongTong Karcham and Parnai HEP and my role was to Design, prepare reports and drawings of different structural components of a Hydropower Plant, where most of the analysis is performed using StaadPro V8i. Prior to joining SMEC India , I worked at Indian Institute of technology, Jammu as a Junior research fellow on project entitled "Mechanical Metamaterials for Resilient structures", where I tried to impregnate metamaterials in wind turbine tower to control the induced vibration of wind turbine due to wind and wave.I completed my master's degree in Structural Engineering from IIT Kanpur, where I learnt Structural Dynamics and Earthquake engineering. My master's thesis was on "Vulnerability assessment of Offshore wind turbine structures under multi-hazard condition" where I have focused on the aspects of earthquake and liquefaction in the region of Gulf of Kutch, in Gujarat. During the course of my Masters's in IIT Kanpur, I have also worked in several consultancy projects which needed non destructive testing, site visits and core sample collection along with testing in Universal Testing machine. I am also acquainted in working with one dimensional Shake Table and actuators. Apart from academics I was also involved in the administration during my stay at Kanpur. I held the position of President in Hall of Residence X, where I headed a team of 8 for the administrative jobs.
