I was born in Elmansoura, Egypt and studied in Cairo University. After receiving my Bachelor degree in Finance, I worked in Egypt and Algeria as a high school Math Teacher. After working in the school for several years, I traveled through Europe holding several different Jobs.My travels found me in New York, where I landed a financial planner job for JCPenney headquarters, a major retailer. After various managerial positions, I was responsible for managing the company’s planning for Women’s outerwear and the Brand of Mango team including sales, margins, and inventory productivity. Also in JCPenney work as Merchandise Planning Manager from 2000 – 2006 Responsible for managing entire company planning for Men's, Athletic and children's shoes to support $508M sales plan. From 1994 – 2000 Work in JCPenney as Merchandise Operation Manager Managed programs and provided functional leadership and support to Divisional Merchandise Manager and assigned buying entities in sales, profit and wholesale commitment, as well as ensuring the provision of needed administrative and operational support to meet company objectives. From 1982 – 1994 worked with the Merchandise Operations Manager to input cost and retail changes. Identified backorders, overstock situations and aged merchandise and made recommendations for appropriate action.After 28 years with JCPenney company, I took early retirement and currently works as Director of Volunteer Chapter Nationwide at Egypt Cancer Network, a nonprofit Organization
