Created an academic program for Building Information Modeling for their Architecture Department. Students transformed their CAD skills into BIM skills allowing them to be marketable to cutting edge firms. Students learned how to create information rich, digital building models with Revit Architecture, Revit Structure, & Revit MEP. Students learned how to create coordination models with Navisworks Manage. Interested transfer students got an opportunity to meet with representatives from Sci-Arc, Woodbury University, University of Southern California and New School of Architecture.

Led the acquisition of CVIS's Autodesk reseller business to Microdesk. Led the transition of the commercial and government business from CVIS to Microdesk. Developed and executed technology implementations for the AEC industry which included technologies such as Revit Architecture, Navisworks, AutoCAD Architecture, AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP, Revit Structure, and AutoCAD Map 3D. Managed technology implementations, innovation, and project based consulting engagements for architecture, engineering, and construction projects throughout California.

Headed the consulting business unit that served the commercial and government market segment. I led corporate strategy which included creation of the academic business unit ($2M+ revenue), trademarks, intellectual property, thought leadership, and strategic partnerships. Directly responsible for the creation of the Southern & Northern California offices of CVIS to meet increased customer demands in those markets. Spearheaded the sale of CVIS's Autodesk Commercial and Government Autodesk reseller business to Microdesk.

Provided technical support and training for Autodesk technologies. Demonstrated the value of new features of new Autodesk technologies to the businesses of Architects, Engineers, and Contractors throughout California.

I was personally hired by the company's owner, Tench Tilghman, as the 7th team member. Initially brought on as a contractor for web development and various technology projects, I joined at a pivotal moment when CVIS was diving into the emerging World Wide Web. What started as a temporary role turned into an incredible 12-year journey. During this time, I played a pivotal role in opening offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco, launching new business units like our AEC consulting division, leading corporate strategy and innovation efforts, securing trademarks, and ultimately negotiating a strategic acquisition by Microdesk.

Part of a prestigious think tank comprised of the most brilliant minds on campus. Together, we continuously challenged the conventional norms in the field of computing by pioneering the development of the inaugural cross-platform computing environment. Our groundbreaking system incorporated Microsoft Windows NT 3.51 (later upgraded to NT 4.0), UNIX, SGI-Irix, and Mac OS, allowing seamless integration across multiple platforms using TCP/IP as the unified network layer.At the forefront of innovation, our UCI ArtsLab proudly possessed the very first D1 quality digital video recorder (DVR). Additionally, our team relentlessly pushed the boundaries in the realm of digital media, excelling in cybersecurity, video compositing, animation, computer-aided design (CAD), virtual environments, and motion capture. To achieve such remarkable feats, we harnessed the power of industry-leading software tools, including Autodesk AutoCAD, Alias|Wavefront (now Autodesk Maya), 3D Studio Max, Adobe Photoshop, NewTek Lightwave, SoftImage, ViCon Motion Capture, and Adobe Premiere.
