About Sabrina Balmaseda

I am a Public Health, BA/MPH candidate at Northeastern University's Bouvé College of Health Sciences. I am interested in community-engaged, environmental public health research, and utilizing this research to confront health disparities, especially within Asian and immigrant communities. I first became passionate about community work related to the Asian American community as the Co-Founder and President of my high school's Asian American Student Association. Besides my academic and professional experiences, I have been a competitive fencer for 12 years. I am currently the Northeastern Club Fencing Saber Captain and on Women's Saber Competition Team.
