I am a movie lover. It’s no surprise to anyone that I have spent the last decade making movies magic for guests of all ages. I have helmed multiplexes that see 200,000 guests a year and some that see almost 500,000 visitors a year, delighting visitors in three different provinces. Worked with the team to make sure all team members had the proper certifications from First Aid, Ladder Safety, Smart Serve, Food Safety, and JOHSC.• Facility Management: Liaised with contractors to maintain a 40,000 sq. ft. property, coordinating large special projects and renovations; organized general contractors, HVAC, plumbers, electricians, landlords, and equipment specialists.• Administration: Created and maintained folders on all of our staff members from certifications, training sign-offs, and policy forms. Entered and reviewed payroll weekly to ensure accurate compensation. Completed all accounts payable. Scheduled deliveries, service calls, as well as ordered both office and cleaning supplies. Answered phone calls and responded to general inquiries. Completed data entry for inventory, sales data, and employee performance metrics. • Financial Analysis: Optimized labour spending by reviewing labour usage and finding efficiencies. Reviewed a variety of contracts (incl. rental agreement, cleaning contract, vendor agreements). Analyzed, prepared, and delivered monthly profit and loss (P&L) reviews. Prepared a quarterly presentation to the leadership team on progress.
