At the end of 2020, I started a podcast called 'Be A Global Citizen!' Since then I have been connecting with individuals from around the world to learn more about their perspectives on global citizenship. In May 2023, I finished a rebrand of my podcast. Introducing 'Peace Together.' I'm broadening the scope of this podcast in the coming years.The mission of Peace Together is to build a greater sense of community as global citizens who live contributive lives. Through shared inquiry on global citizenship education, this community will create new approaches that piece together the many gaps hindering one’s development towards becoming a positive, active agent of change in society.

Review Global Politics study guide and develop Teacher Support Materials (TSM).

Active recruiting in geomarkets across the United States, review applications for undergraduate admissions, serve as an official representative of Soka University of America (SUA) at high schools, college fairs, and the general public, conduct campus tours, carry out event planning for recruitment purposes, and strategize new approaches to more effectively engage high schoolers who may be interested in SUA.

My role as the Theory of Knowledge teacher is to engage students across different areas of knowledge to shed light on the question: how do we know what we know? This subject is ideal for seminar formats where students bring together new knowledge and create connections towards better assessing knowledge and applying it in real world contexts.

I support the high school students who are interested in applying to colleges outside of the country. My involvement in the college preparation process is to carry out workshops for students and parents about the various stages of application. I have presented on topics such as extracurricular lists, college essays, SAT/TOEFL, and correspondence etiquette.

When I first began this role as Global Politics teacher, the IB was carrying out the pilot for the subject. I made up a small group of IB teachers around the world who were testing out the new curriculum for a subject that bridged different social sciences while contemplating the local/global dimensions. I used seminar classes and project based learning approaches to engage my students in critical inquiry across numerous political issues such as nuclear disarmament, refugees, and gender equality. My last year in this role culminated in positive IB scores for my high school class.

I have taught English as a Second Language to students of all grade levels in the Elementary and Middle schools. I am have experience with International curriculum standards in bilingual English from the National Geographic and International School.

Assisted in the completion of social projects in local favelas, and studied under the lead project manager in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

I worked as a pool lifeguard during the summers and also taught swim lessons to children/adolescents between the ages of 5 and 13.
