As an ELA Instructor at Western Nevada College, I have been helping adult learners improve their reading, writing, and communication skills for over seven months. I have over five years of experience in teaching and coaching students from various backgrounds and levels, and I am passionate about empowering them to achieve their academic and personal goals. I use various methods and strategies to cater to their diverse needs and preferences, and I also collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the curriculum and the learning environment.In addition to my teaching role, I am also a freelance writer and an academic writing coach, with over nine months and six years of experience respectively. I create engaging and original content for various clients and platforms, with a focus on small business email and website content, poetry, business writing, and college level academic writing. I also provide online support and feedback to students who need assistance with their essays, research papers, and other assignments. I have co-instructed a pilot program in Nevada called COREQ, which aims to improve students' writing skills and confidence. I love the challenge and excitement of these roles, and I have made amazing friends along the way. Furthermore, I am a certified lifeguard, with credentials in CPR, AED, and oxygen administration, and I have worked in various events and venues, ensuring the safety and well-being of the participants and the public.
