Business partner to local field operations leadership in talent & leadership development, performance management, employee relations, store staffing & team member retention and recruitment and selection of leadership staff. Sole HR Manager within multi-state region supporting over 160 retail stores including 14 District Managers, 30 commercial sales professionals and 2,000 store team members. Successfully supported multiple regions as sole HR Manager for 14 months. Position eliminated as part of company reorganization in June 2017.

Responsible for the hiring, onboarding and administration of approximately 400 seasonal associates for an H&R Block retail tax district of 21 office locations.

In this newly created position, I served as business partner to local H&R Block divisional field leadership and field support office personnel in all areas of HR including leadership training, talent and performance management, associate relations and recruitment and selection of staff. I partnered with another RHRM to support a territory of nine states with over 70 full-time managers and nearly 10,000 seasonal associates. I collaborated with the Divisional Vice President, Regional Directors, District Managers, Tax Office Leaders and Divisional Office Support Personnel including Operations, Marketing, Finance and Training to drive positive business results.After nearly 9 years with H&R Block, the Regional HR Manager position was eliminated as part of a major corporate restructuring which affected nearly 400 positions across the entire organization.
