I am a full-time consultant to the Surveillance and Statistics branch of the Division of Diabetes Translation at the CDC. NHANES, HCUP, IQVIA, and CMS are the primary data sources for analysis. For analysis and data management, I use mostly SAS and Python.I support the United States Diabetes Surveillance System and track users’ activities using Adobe.

I use Minitab’s Salford Predictive Modeler machine learning to build models based on historical data to predict wait times at attractions across Disney and Universal theme parks for every operating day and hour of each year. This service allows over 100,000 active subscribers per year to create their own optimized plans for visiting the park while.

• I participated in the Encounter Data Project for the CMS Medicare Plan Payment Group (MPPG). I developed measures, metrics and data structures to measure the completeness and accuracy of the encounter data, as well as.
• I developed a method for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida to allocate enrollees to pharmacy, similar to allocation methods for assigning PCPs. The method was then utilized in models to predict compliance with Part D.
• I enabled Aledade, Inc. to identify future high-risk patients for intervention. I identified and allowed the client to understand cost drivers of high-risk patients attributed to participating Accountable Care.

I served as the databased administrator and SAS developer for the CDC’s National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN), the nation’s most widely-used healthcare associated infection tracking system. Prior to working on the NHSN, I created the SAS components of the BioSense Application to visualize, analyze, and summarize syndromic surveillance data.
