A dynamic, innovative and strategic industry leader, I bring decades of significant success in entertainment operations, food and beverage, event management, marketing and sales, finance and administration. Having gained recognition and acclaim for my work in the entertainment industry, I was named to the elite class of 20 Executives Under 40 in 2008. As General Manager and owner liaison for the world famous Wildhorse Saloon (Opry Entertainment Group) in Downtown Nashville, my team and I led a transformative resurgence of the iconic brand beginning in 2018. Increasing food, beverage, private event sales and a diversification of live entertainment offerings, we strategically curated and led a high-performance team accomplishing financial and operational company milestones. This included an aggressive yet highly successful campaign to reimagine a multi-experiential venue catering to the needs of tourists, locals and artists simultaneously while delivering healthy company profits. Having worked with some of the music industry’s biggest artists and acts, I was able to solidify the iconic brand’s legacy as a landmark venue while forging impactful relationships with promoters such as AEG. This partnership led to the highly strategic and successful introduction of EDM shows in the most unlikely of venues in Downtown Nashville. My entrepreneurial drive compliments my corporate experience. In 2006 at the age of 24, when the cash-strapped County of Porter was struggling to keep the historic Memorial Opera House (circa 1898) from closing, I was tapped to be its leader. My team and I strategically led the financial turn around and revitalization of the venue. Similar to the Wildhorse, my vision to introduce new programming to diversify the audiences and increase revenue was a risk that paid dividends. In 2009, Porter County officials once again tapped me to simultaneously oversee the operations of the Porter County Expo Center & Fairgrounds – an 88-acre multi-use facility playing host to numerous large-scale events throughout the year.In 2012, my professional career led to Nashville as Director of Business Development for Service Management Systems, a service oriented company providing contract labor and operational solutions for large, complex facilities and venues across the country. My talent in the entertainment and hospitality industry brought to market new service offerings and as a result secured multi-million dollar contracts for professional sporting clubs, stadiums and resorts across the country, growing top line revenues.
