- Planned and executed short to mid-term (1 hour - 3 year) power supply for seven hydroelectric dams on two major tributaries of the Columbia River- Forecasted daily supply and demand for the next 1-6 months to optimize contracts and minimize purchases of higher priced power, achieving cost savings up to $18.7 million annually- Purchased forward market electricity contracts from 2021-2023, saving an estimated $8.8 million total- Assisted with the 2021 Long-Term Electric Resource Plan, namely through updating and performing model analysis through a MILP model, as well as researching and writing application sections for changing energy policy in neighbouring provinces and states, changing supply environments, power supply contracts and resources, price forecasts, as well as a planning reserve margin report- Created an automated daily power supply update to increase internal transparency and aid with team planning for contract management and price optimization- Updated 2020 and 2021 Annual Electric Contracting Plans to meet BC government’s clean energy regulations, and developed strategies to enhance FortisBC’s portfolio and planning- Used technical writing skills to document 16 processes and reports, while also increasing time efficiency in generating reports by over 60%- Provided direction and training support to System Operators for daily scheduling and after-the-fact accounting processes

- Integrated the supply from acquisition of Canwest Propane, a $412 million acquisition of 470 million annual L in Western Canada, maximized efficiencies and contributed $1.9 million towards $20 million pre-tax annual synergies between companies- Developed a Price Equalization and Rebate process to reconcile monthly a new pricing method to pre-acquisition reference pricing, resulting in automatic calculations for over $1.6 million in rebates to Superior Propane- Grew wholesale business through scheduling and weekly profitability reporting for new wholesale customers in 8 states and provinces - Scheduled and managed both supplier and customer contracts, as well as 3rd party carrier relationships for over 1.3 billion L of propane in 2.5 years, approximately 40 million L (10.6 million gallons) per month on average- Committee member for SGL's Joint Health & Safety Committee, helping to create awareness of health and safety issues and resolve workplace and occupational hazards.

- Responsible for scheduling 20 - 42 million monthly litres of propane truck loads and railcar supply from various supply points in Alberta, BC & Washington to direct haul customers and storage- Managed supply contracts in order to achieve profitability and meet performance incentives- Analyzed on a load by load basis arbitrage opportunities while simultaneously managing 3.9 million gallons of tank inventory to ensure continuous supply for Superior Propane- Implemented Daily Supply Planners for every business unit / region to achieve maximum profitability and performance- Developed a Rail Weighted Average Cost which analyzed the current average cost at each terminal based on DOS contracts, freight, and other factors for cars constructively placed- Provided vacation/additional summer coverage for the Atlantic region (overall 45% of Superior Propane national demand including AB and BC) and ensured continuous propane supply for storage and customers in 7 provinces/territories and 5 U.S. States. Through this, managed supply and rail at 4 of the 6 largest storage terminals for Superior Propane.
