As a Systems Engineer, I serve as a technical product and solutions expert who assists our sales team, customers, and partners in a pre and post-sales capacity. I provide technical expertise and guidance to Variphy's partner and customer base on how to deploy, configure, operate, optimize, and troubleshoot our software products and solutions.Responsibilities Include:• Develop, maintain, and expand our product knowledge base• Contribute to the improvement of our products and best practices by working directly with our product and engineering teams• Build and maintain virtualized Unified Communications core and lab infrastructure for demo systems and R&D use

Ensures internal and external customer satisfaction by answering inquiries from ISI customers, staff and authorized dealers regarding assigned hardware and software products. Serves as the highest-level technical contact in ISI for technology-related issues, i.e. operating system, network, email or web questions. Serves as an integral part of the launch phase of the product development effort for assigned products as related to technology. Ensures that effective technical documentation and training is delivered for the assigned technology as it relates to the supported applications.Periodically, assists MIS Manager with SharePoint (2007 or 2010) site administration, SQL 2005/2010 administration, Windows 2003/2008 Server administration and Report Writer (Crystal Reports), as needed and assigned by Director of Customer Service.Provides assistance to Sales Department in determining required specifications and application components to assist in the preparation of a Proposal. Assists Sales Department to take highly technical information and put it in layman’s terms for prospective customers. May be required to perform demos/presentations and/or to attend onsite meetings/presentations with Sales, requiring travel.
