Planner/engineer with a passion for active transportation, safe streets, and livable communities.In a previous life, I was a software engineer working on Amazon's fulfillment centre software, with a short stint at a startup where I helped to build something like Google Photos. In the background, I was volunteering at Seattle's Link Light Rail opening day, and after moving back to Canada, advocating for better cycling infrastructure through my involvement with the Burlington Cycling Advisory Committee.I began transitioning my side interests into a new career by returning to school in 2016, seeking to follow my dreams and pursue more meaningful and impactful work.I now work on a wide range of transportation projects throughout Ontario and beyond. I enjoy challenging the status quo, adapting best practices from other jurisdictions, constantly learning, and helping to make stronger, safer, healthier, and more resilient communities.
