Semantic interoperability is still my core area. As Expert and Member of Control Body for the INSPIRE Vocabulary, I want to improve the usage and semantic content of controlled vocabularies.I'm active in conceptual and technical implementation for Disasters Risks data hubs. In Austria, together with Joanneum Research, I worked on a comprehensive feasibility study, called "damage.AT", how to set up a national Risk Data Service. Since Summer 2018, I'm contracted by European Commission DG JRC as Expert to support their solution and concept by my expertises.As Geo Coordinator (Group on Earth Observation) for Austria, I'm supporting and try to extend the network for a better operational cooperation of In-Situ - Sensor Observation, Earth Observation, Biodiversity Catalogues and Climate Models Services. In conclusion of these thematic aspects, my daily work means team building, find fundings, negotiation for my CCCA colleagues, searching ever for new opportunities, setup concepts and concrete implementation plans.
