I grew up in Portland, Oregon. I graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and Portland State University. I left the Northwest to continue my education at Texas Tech University. There I obtained both a Master of Business Administration ("MBA") and a Juris Doctorate (Law) degrees.After graduating I returned to Portland, Oregon. I joined the Oregon State Bar Association in 1999 and the Washington State Bar Association in 2006. For almost 18 years my practice has focused on representing Oregon and Washington employees against their current or former employers and individuals against harassing debt collectors. I have represented my clients both in an individual capacity and as large groups in multi-million dollar class action cases. As a result of my litigation efforts, thousands were entitled to recover money damages, wages, penalty wages, costs, and attorney fees for prosecuting their claims.Large corporate defendants can hire the biggest and best defense firms. Individuals need someone who is not intimidated and can stand up to these corporate giants and who will fight for their rights. I have prosecuted cases against both large and small Defendants such as: Reser's Fine Foods, Addus Healthcare, Circuit City Stores, El Paso Energy Petroleum, Freightliner, Columbia Collectors, Ace Parking, Xerox, Decision One, Tigard Tendercare, and many others.
