Responsible for territory sales in MN, ND, SD, IA, NE and WY covering Molecular Diagnostics product categories for;- Oncology FISH and laboratory automation- Infectious Diseases rt PCR assay menu and laboratory automation solutions- Genetics Sequencing assay menu and automation solutions-Capitol Equipment service Calling on Clinical and Research Laboratories, management, administration and Pathology in academic and commercial laboratory operations.

• Support Abbott Molecular sales growth by delivering exceptional technical support to customers, junior Application Specialists and field sales. Ensured a high degree of customer satisfaction and loyalty to Abbott Molecular products as the primary contact for assay/instrument integrations, technical support and troubleshooting of instrument and/or reagent issues.• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customer facilities in person, by phone, and by email to investigate problems, diagnose probable causes, systematically eliminate alternatives and provide solutions.• Serve as a subject matter expert on assays and instruments for junior Application Specialists and Field Service Specialists.• Assisted in the continuing technical development of junior Application Specialists.• Develop product information, training materials, troubleshooting guides for use as a reference for current Application Specialists and for use in training of newly hired Application Specialists. • Develop knowledge of molecular diagnostic technologies and their protocols including: FISH, nucleic acid extraction, real-time PCR, DNA sequencing and fragment analysis. • Manage support activities to ensure rapid integration of assays and instruments into customer facilities: plan and oversee the integration process, recommending appropriate lab configurations and good molecular practice, and assist customers in meeting their regulatory and validation requirements. • Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system including compliance with all FDA and Abbott Molecular Quality Systems procedures.
